MarketWatch’s retirement calculator is a cross-section tool that tells us if we can retire at the desired age.
Although it looks very condensed at first, after we try it out it is very versatile.
We can introduce information about the household, different types of retirement income, such as social security pension, and spending and expenses in retirement.
Once completed, the calculator presents three different graphs that indicate our retirement plan.
This includes a graph of assets, future income and retirement expenditures.
The program also provides recommendations at the top of the page.
